The state fee is reduced by 20 per cent when you apply for a tachograph card via the e-service. Accordingly, the state fee for issuing the driver, company or control card is 40 euros instead of 50 euros.
“Over the last five years we were issuing an average of 7,000 such cards annually. These innovations are finally allowing transport companies, tachograph-servicing workshops and control institutions to apply for the cards directly via our e-service environment with postal delivery,” stated Tiit Poll, chief specialist of the Examination Department of the Transport Administration.
Instructions on how to apply for company and control cards can be viewed here.
A company card, control card or workshop card is owned by a legal person. Therefore an application for such a card can be submitted pursuant to the right of representation as stipulated in the legislation provided by the relevant authorisation. You can also issue an authorisation via the Transport Administration’s e-service.
The option to apply for the tachograph workshop card will be added to the e-service environment in the second half of February.
